Apprenticeships

Students interested in an apprenticeship should seriously consider OYAP – the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program. It begins with a coop placement in the trade, in Grade 11 and/or Grade 12. If the employer sees potential, you can be signed as an apprentice while still in high school, begin working on your hours and skills, and potentially take your Level 1 Theory at college – fully funded!
