Attention Spartans who are participating in Relay For Life on Friday, June 17th! Students who have registered for our Relay For Life on Friday, June 17th have been given permission to attend the event until 9:30pm. Transportation will have to be arranged to pick students up at that time (parents are welcome to come a little earlier to enjoy the fireworks display).
Looking for Cancer Survivors for Relay for Life 2022 On Friday, June 17th, SJCHS will be hosting it’s 21st annual Relay For Life. One of the highlights of the event is the presence of cancer survivors. At 5:30pm we host a reception for cancer survivors and their families, followed by the Survivor’s Victory Lap.

CDSBEO Summer Programs for Secondary & Adult Learners The CDSBEO is pleased to offer online credit courses for the summer session. Courses will start on July 4 and run until July 27, 2022. The deadline for registration is June 17, 2022.
Connect with PIVOTAL HELP Pivotal Help, in partnership with Ecotay, is hosting a fundraising event on Sunday June 5, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ecotay grounds (133 Menzies Munro Sideroad, Tay Valley) with all proceeds going to Pivotal Help.
Intermediate Track Meet Intermediate track meet will be held on Tuesday, May 31st. On the day of the Track meet, students will report to their homeroom classes and then proceed to the field. Participation in this event is important as it is part of the Physical Education program. The emphasis is on fun and participation with the expectation every student will participate in at least 3 events of their choice. Some fun events may be offered this year as well! Our top competitors in each event will go on to represent SJCH at a family of schools meet on June 7th at Notre Dame High School. Students must be in good standing and have qualified through participation at our track meet to represent the school.
The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test will be taking place during periods 1 & 2 on the following days: May 2nd, 3rd, & 4th!
Wii Bowling for Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Lanark County Ms. Taillefer’s grade 10 Religion class will be running a fundraiser in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County. BBBSLC supports children and youth in our community by creating a sense of belonging, fun activities, and positive role models through various programs.
